I had the funniest thing happen to me last week. I had slept in and was in a total rush to get out to work. In my haze of styling and getting dressed, I barely grabbed a protein bar for breakfast, let alone my thermos full of coffee. Well, when I came home, not only had I left clothes all around the bedroom, but I had left the towel on my bathroom floor. However, when I went to pick it up, it wasn’t damp or musty; the towel was perfectly dry and still smelled nice and clean. This is because my bathroom has heated floors, which I had installed just two years ago. The heated floors are a blessing when its cold out and I don’t want to get out of the shower. They really help me get ready a lot faster, because I don’t put off toweling off for so very long. Well, what I discovered last week is my heated floor in the bathroom has a secondary purpose. See, a lot of my clothes for the office are delicate cycle only, so getting them to dry right away is not an easy feat. Usually I’m putting them in for a bit on low, and then letting them line dry the rest of the way. Well, drying them has gotten a lot easier! If I have a blouse I need dry for work in the morning, I can lay it out on the bathroom heated floor. The warm tile is gentle enough to dry the blouse off without damaging it!
