I have a job that gives me the freedom to choose his working space. It is a great perk to not have to walk into the same office everyday and punch a time clock. I do join fellow employees a few times a week, to brainstorm on group projects or give ideas to them, but I have a lot of freedom when it comes to the spot I do my writing. There are lazy days when I admit that I don’t feel like departing the house. I like to sit at the computer in my study, with a hot cup of tea, and a nice, cool, refreshing air conditioner or warm and lovely furnace to keep me comfortable, depending on the time of year. That is an excellent perk of working wherever I want: being able to enjoy my own excellent climate control system, instead of being under the HVAC vents of some office building. That is indeed why I really love going to this cafe in town to type as well. Besides having excellent tea and a wide array of pastries for breakfast or soups and sandwiches later on, the cafe has a wonderful HVAC system for writing. I get to sit in a big comfy chair and indulge in their excellent heating and air, as I brainstorm away on my computer. No matter the weather, they always seem to set the perfect temperature on the thermostat to keep me happy as I write. I love that little cafe, and I enjoy my writing job!
